Roller Monkey (along with Buoy Wonder) is the fourth episode of the Curious George series.
Synopsis[]
Mr and Mrs Dulson ask George to wear a pair of rollerskates in front of their toy store to attract customers, but George's skating soon gets out of control.
Plot[]
The Man in the Yellow Hat leaves George, telling him to clean the apartment. Instead, George learns to ride on his toy cars. He rides onto the street, which attracts the attention of the toy store owners. They give him a free pair of roller skates, instructing him to ride around the city to attract customers to the store. George learns how to use the brakes to stop.
George rides to the apartment and gives Hundley a pair of roller skates. However, Hundley's skates go out of control, and he rides across a street, through a park and past Pisghetti's restaurant, where Gnocchi the cat jumps onto Hundley's back.
Hundley and Gnocchi goes to the skate park, where they learn to steer to control their movement. They eventually reach a very steep slope, where Hundley collapses and avoids falling.
George catches up with Gnocchi in his hands and removes Hundley's skates. However, Gnocchi jumps into a skate and continues rolling down the slope. Hundley and George grab him, causing them all to roll down the slope and fall into the lake.
George and Hundley return home covered in mud and water. The Man with the Yellow Hat takes George to the apartment and the Doorman wipes off Hundley. However, Hundley takes a pair skates and hides them in a plant.
